At home my HF station consists of the FlexRadio Systems 5000A with ATU, VHF, & UHF driving a Commander HF-2500 amp. RX audio from the Flex is routed through a Sherwood 100w amplifier and appropriate five speaker system. ESSB and AM sound amazing.
